• Translations in the fields engineering and sciences:

• I have gained experience in general engineering as well as in automotive engineering (e. g. translations for BMW, Volvo, Honda, Mitsubishi, Mazda, General Motors, Mannesmann/Sachs), marine engines (Volvo Penta, Yamaha), tractors and agricultural machines (e. g. combine harvester),  construction machines (e. g. excavator, wheel loader), international standards (SAE and ISO standards, parts of AECMA 1000D, company-specific standards), test specifications, logistics agreements, medical devices (e. g. for minimally invasive surgery), aviation industry/suppliers (e. g. DASA, Liebherr Aero-Technik), machine tools (e. g. cylindrical grinding machine, welding robot).

• Apart from that, I have translated a large number of patents (claims and descriptions) for submission to the European Patent Office. They covered a large variety of fields, such as medical devices, information technology, telecommunications, optics (laser, scanning electron microscope), packaging machines and fastening systems.
